DIY Easy Apothecary Jar and Rose Floral Arrangements

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

Did you see yesterday's post about making the big floral monogram A for the A is for Addalyn party?  Well, now I'm going to show what I did after the party with all those roses.

I had all these lovely roses left over, but they'd been cut with very short stems for the monogram floral arrangement.  Then I remembered my mother's beautiful crystal rose bowl and was inspired.

I don't have a rose bowl, but I do have several apothecary jars.

I just filled up my apothecary jars with fresh, cold water and rose food, and floated the roses inside.

It really couldn't have been easier, but it looked gorgeous!  And the flowers lasted for nearly two weeks this way, with occasional changes to the water.  I love getting more use out of something than I originally intended!
