Elephant Tea Party Circus Cupcake Toppers

When I started posting the tutorials on how to make the teeny tiny tea set cupcake toppers, Suzanne from Fanciful Events contacted me and asked if I might be able to make a circus-themed version for an upcoming party she's styling.  Challenge accepted!

I based the design off of the adorable printables set designed for the party.  Then added the cute little elephant just because he's fun!

He was a lesson in experimentation.  I didn't work from any instructions, just played with the gumpaste as if I were back in preschool playing with Play-Doh.  I thought I was doing pretty well until my husband came over and asked, "what is that thing?"  Uh-oh.  If you can't tell, I'm doing it incorrectly!  Back to the drawing board.  ;-)

In the end, I was pleased with my little guys, and I can't wait to see how Suzanne uses them!
