Pumpkin Cookies with Cream Cheese Frosting on Best Friends for Frosting

Pumpkin cookies with cream cheese icing!  I love these cookies.  Crave them.  Need them.  

Well, my pants might disagree with that statement, which is why I only make this recipe when I have a potluck or a party or some sort of event where I can give most of them away.  But I always find at least one excuse to make these cookies each fall.
